Aluminum is fine, but wood has a soul!
The Duckhunter
The Duckhunter is an extremely stable low profile, 2-man marsh boat. For almost 10 years, the Duckhunter was my primary hunting boat and is the most purchased model here at Toller Boatworks. The DH design is extremely stable and best suited for an outboard, but will perform ok with a mudmotor. I've included a number of pictures, please keep in mind there have been minor design changes over the years.
If you are in the market for a unique two man duck boat, look no further. If there is one thing to be said about my work, its quality. My goal is to be build a boat the owner will be proud of and that can be passed down to generations to come. The DH is an extremely stable design, it is perfectly feasible to use the grass rails to enter the boat from chest deep water. The low profile with included blind doors makes hunting areas with sparse cover very feasible.
