NEW!! 3" 3 nexLED Utility Strip Lights

New & Improved 5/26/08

Slim, tough, 1/4" plastic housing, self-adhesive tape (simply remove the protective cover and stick them where you want!) and COMPLETELY waterproof, can be installed below the waterline!

The nexLED is the future of LEDs. Each nexLED contains 3 diodes vs 1 diode in a standard LED, these strip lights are brighter than the old style I used to carry and have a wider light distribution than the old style (150 deg. vs. 55 deg.)

Since I have started building boats, this is one of the items people inquire about the most so I have decided to pass along the savings.

Originally, I used the Sea Sense 3" 6 LED light, but they were extremely expensive.  Depending on the supplier the cost was anywhere from just over $12 to $22 each!

I was able to contract out with a USA manufacturer to custom make a 3" 3 nexLED light. These lights work well when placed under the gunwales or in compartments, however you can use them anywhere you need a light.

Limited Lifetime Guarantee - If the nexLED strip ever stops functioning simply return for a replacement

Here is a picture of the actual LED

The following are pictures of the old style LEDs at work.  These pictures were made in complete darkness with nothing but the LEDs illuminating the interior of the boat. I guarantee that the new style LEDs work better!

For reference, the cockpit of this boat is roughly 12' long and 5' wide at its widest point.  There are 7 LEDs located down the sides and under the front deck.

The price is $10 each plus $3.85 shipping regardless of quantity.  If you would like to purchase LEDs you can either do so here by Paypal or contact me via email if you would like to mail payment.

For those of you asking how to wire them up, here is one of the possible ways. This shows all lights being on one switch.
